Helping the Troubled Teen in Crisis

Teens who have troubling issues often work hard to hide these issues from their parents and teachers. They don't want anyone to know how they really feel or to be seen as weak or inferior. Troubled teens want to be seen as strong and able to take care of themselves. They also are at a point in their lives when they don't want their parents to interfere with their lives anymore. But it is important for parents to watch out for signs that their troubled teen is in crisis.

Teens in crisis are not aware that they are in need of help and most of the time; they will not pursue help on their own. They will continue to think that this is what life is supposed to be like and just continue to live in their misery. It is the parent's job to make sure this doesn't happen.
